It seems to me I have been a therapist all my life.
I have been legally blind since birth; sensing energy, being aware of the levels of the unseen and deep listening are skills I developed early in life.
As a child, I was very interested in people, in really knowing them … their thoughts and feelings and why they behaved in the ways they did. I often found adults confusing and contradictory. Of course, now I know they were often unsure and conflicted … as much a mystery to themselves as to me.
As I matured, I added concrete skille to my sensitivity and intuition.
Psychology, astrology and spirituality are the additional tools of my path, the way I choose to live in the world …they help me fathom my internal workings and those of others and then to understand and relate to the interconnectedness of all of us.
Trained as as a Social Worker, I served as line staff and managed programs that provided advocacy for the homeless population, people with AIDS, children at risk, adolescents, the elderly and people who are terminally ill. I have assisted in research and have been published.
My extensive training includes: Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Jungian Therapy, Group therapy, Hypnotherapy, Body Psychotherapy (Core Energetics), Addictions and Recovery and Astrology.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and a certified hypnotherapist.
In 1993, I founded Limitless Horizons so I could have more freedom to personalize my work with clients; to integrate my training, skill and substantial life experience. Since then, I have worked with many people and organizations locally, nationally and internationally.
I have designed and led Meditation/Relaxation, Leadership and Team Building and The Psychology Of Money workshops in Fortune 500 corporations and in not for profit companies.
